The NSW Smart Sensing Network and the NSW Department of Environment’s OPENAIR project have been named research finalists in the 2024 Australian IoT Awards, which is the official awards program of IoT Alliance Australia. The OPENAIR project has been recognised by the Awardee as a multi-disciplinary initiative that connected researchers from five universities and the NSW Department of Environment with local governments. One of the significant outcomes of the project is the development of a vendor-agnostic harmonised air quality data feed and API. The winners of the award categories will be announced on June 13, 2024, at the IOT Impact conference.
