We extend our congratulations to Ms Lakmini Wijesekara for her outstanding achievement in receiving the People’s Choice Award for the “Best Lightning Talk for the theme of Health and Society” at the WSU Junior Researchers Conference 2022. Her presentation, entitled “Spatiotemporal Data Analysis to Identify Environmental Risk Factors Associated with Diabetes,” was well-received and stood out among her peers. The award is a testament to her dedication and expertise in the field of health and society. We applaud her for her exceptional work and her contributions to the advancement of knowledge in this field.
