Ms Prathayne Nanthakumaran was awarded first place in the 3MT competition

We are pleased to announce that Ms Prathayne Nanthakumaran has won first place in the School of Computer, Data, and Mathematical Sciences (SoCDMS) 3MT competition held on June 17th. In addition, she was also awarded the People’s Choice Award for the same competition. Her presentation focused on identifying environmental risk factors associated with cataracts to aid in the management and control of the disease. Prathayne has been chosen to represent SoCDMS in the upcoming WSU finals. Furthermore, she was the runner-up in the Visualize Your Thesis 2022 competition, which was also held by SoCDMS on the same day. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Prathayne on her remarkable achievements and wish her the very best for the next round of the competition.
