Mr Yasiru Kirindearachchi has won the People’s Choice Award at the Research Theme Image Competition

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Yasiru Kirindearachchi has won the esteemed People’s Choice Award at the inaugural Research Theme Image Competition hosted by Western Sydney University’s Research Theme Program. The competition aimed to showcase the University’s innovative and cutting-edge research in an engaging and visually inspiring way. The competition received an impressive 46 entries across various research themes from both faculty members and students. From these entries, a distinguished panel of judges selected ten finalists whose entries were showcased at the Research Celebration event held on November 9, 2023. We congratulate Mr Kirindearachchi on his remarkable achievement and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
